The Waorani tribe of the Amazon rainforest.

I have been studying the Waorani Tribe and I am going explain how they lived in the Amazon Rainforest.

In the Waorani Tribe, family life is very important because they all depend on each other to help them out. In the family the whole of them live together. Each person has different jobs for example

Women: cook

Look after the kids

And make things e.g fabric

Men: hunt

And provide

Also look after kids

Kids: they don’t go to school they learn how to hunt

And they help around the ht.

The houses what the people live in are made from the trees. They are all in a discrete area but then again the houses are big. Also they aren’t that decorative because they don’t stay in one place at a time which is called Nomadic.

To be able to survive in the Amazon Rainforest they need weapons which they get them from the plants. Darts: from the trees

Poison: from the vines

Blow pipes: vines

Spear: tree.

Hunting is the main part of their life the men go out and hunt because they need food and that the men are the best to get it because they are more powerful. The hunting is the main part of their survival without it they would be struggling.

And animals that they hunt are pigs, chickens, and most popular are the wool monkeys. But when they hunt for the animals they need to be careful so they learn how too catch and kill also they all ready know what to do due to when they were young they had no schools so they learnt of their dad.

To conclude my essay on the Waorani Tribe I think that it is good how they survive and they are a good example to their kids because they will teach them how to survive and keep their hopes up for the better things to come.
